Billions of Facebook posts now showable to search results
Facebook has indexed nearly one million posts that are placed on the site by its members to make it easier to find.Change means that many older job now be added to the results when people are looking for news and information.
The move is seen as part of Facebook's attempts to keep people on the site instead of going to another place to keep up with events.

Tom plump director of research at the Facebook blog, said that many people already resorted to Facebook when trying to figure out how family and friends were a reaction to world events. He said he carried about 1.5 million searches a day on Facebook.
